Female With Blood In Stool

tapes of the Center for Military History: Darius Prather

The interviews obtained under FOIA dall'Army Center for Military History continues to provide valuable anchors for the interpretation of the details of the attack on the Pentagon Sept. 11. In the archives of the CMH remember, there are 799 interviews with more or less directly involved in the event. Among these ones conducted at the group of workers dell'Arlington National Cemetery, also recently interviewed by an independent research group. Thanks to these filmed interviews on the spot it was possible to assign a name to the code (Neito ***) included in the interviews given by anonymous military.

One year after the FOIA request by Farmer, interviews continue to arrive in waves and can now also listen to Darius Prather (NEIT422), a witness already included in the documentary The North Side Flyover . The document does not come this time but in the form of transcription such as tape, downloadable in MP3 format at this address:

It 'important to emphasize that this interview was made December 12, 2001, a period relatively near the attack, and how the key points of the story of Prather have not changed at all
interview in June 2008 of CIT. The descriptions of the details of the sighting of the plane a few meters from the roof of the Navy Annex and the passage north of CITGO gas station have remained unchanged.

Below we publish the transcription and translation of excerpts from the conversation between Prather and the officer of the Army Center for Military History, which took place near the complex maintenance of the cemetery in Arlington
Prather: Up there, where, That building is, right there.

CMH officer: Towards the Navy Annex ...

Prather: The Navy Annex, above midway. You can see where is a little area on the roof ... the lower roof [...]. That area is right along in Where the American Airlines plane That Came Directly across, and it Was Only about 3 or 4 and half feet above that. We thought it was the weirdest thing. "It is too damn low", we were saying [...].

So as it came across there... and once the plane came across the building it lowered down [...], it came on down in between where the gas station is and our parking lot. [...] Then he just aimed that nose of the plane like a missile straight over the Pentagon. So as it came right there everybody just ran. I ran into the [inaudible]. [...]

We came just side of this door, we looked over our shoulder on this side (because we were turned this way), that's when we noticed that big airplane come across that building. And I'm just shocked the plane as close it was, he didn't take the roof of that building off.

CMH officer: The Navy Annex?

Prather: Yeah. That's how close it was. Was it 3 and half to four feet, I would not give 5 feet, I would not think it Was That high. Was it just three and half to four feet high, just like When You Were the Japanese planes coming in Pearl Harbor. That's The Way It Looked Exactly. It Came in, kinda quiet at first and then you hear this noise and rumble like the plane Aimed like a missile.
Translation:
Prather: Up there, where there's that building right there.

CMH Journal: In front of the Navy Annex ...

Prather: The Navy Annex, above and center. See that little area on the roof ... the lower roof [Prather refers to the wing No. 8 of the Navy Annex, later demolished to make way for the war memorial] . The American Airlines plane went own through that area and it was only 3-4 feet above. We thought it was something really strange. "It 's too damn low," we were saying. [...]

So there's been a ... and once the plane has passed the building has fallen [...] and came down between the service station and car park. [...] Then he addressed the nose of the aircraft as a missile straight towards the Pentagon. When he arrived there, all were running. I ran towards the [inaudible]. [...]

Prather during the interview returns to describe again the starting point of the sighting:

We were right here beside this door. We looked behind us on this side (because we were shot from this side) and that is where we see this huge plane coming from the building. I was simply shocked to what the plane was close to us and how little for them to strike.

Official CMH: The Navy Annex?

Prather: No. He was so close. It was 3-4 feet [above], I would not say 5, I do not think it was that high. It was just 3-4 feet, as when the Japanese planes arrived at Pearl Harbor. Questo รจ esattamente come appariva. E' arrivato in silenzio, poi ho sentito questo rumore come un tuono e ho visto l'aereo indirizzarsi come un missile.
